These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and RevenueArc ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Hong Kong Mahjong app ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Hong Kong Mahjong is a single-player game in which you play against computer (AI) opponents. There is no multiplayer, real-money wagering, or cash prizes. All in-game scoring uses points that have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or guardian's permission.
You can use the App without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, you are responsible for maintaining the security of that sign-in and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (see the account screen), which removes your account and associated personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App offers optional one-time purchases and an auto-renewing subscription ("Plus"). All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store under its terms — we do not handle your payment details.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the app store terms.
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App except as permitted by law; use cheats, bots, or exploits to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or entitlements; disrupt or attack our services; or use the App in violation of any applicable law. We may suspend or remove leaderboard entries we reasonably believe are fraudulent.
If you sign in, your display name, avatar, and score may appear on the public leaderboard. Choose a display name that is not offensive and does not infringe anyone's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
The App, including its code, artwork, tile designs, and text, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license above, no rights are granted to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
We may modify or discontinue the App (or any feature) and may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted in the App or by updating the date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them; Apple has no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the App. Your use is also subject to the App Store's terms of service. (If you use the App as an installable web app on desktop, it is provided directly by us and these Terms govern in full.)
